On the hold-by day for a sample nobody is paid on, Janelle checks an eleven-dollar box and finds potassium in Gary's tile water: the dryer ash left a trail. She tells Gary in his machine shed that the ash is on his ground, the mill blames farmer potash, the co-op says zero, and the determination slides past Christmas.
